HartleyStudio strives to create buildings and places that are beautiful; environments that people take delight in seeing and interacting with. Accordingly, these projects are specific to our clients’ aspirations and needs, and to their location in place and time. We shape materials and technology in equal measure to create buildings that are authentic and sustainable.

HartleyStudio believes that the creative process is a partnership, wherein we bring professional training, experience and continuous research, and combine them with our clients’ explicit and implicit goals. We pride ourselves on the level of service that we provide our clients, where the studio’s principal is directly responsible and involved in every project.

Our portfolio includes residential, commercial, and master planning projects for private, corporate, and institutional clients throughout the United States. A selection is listed and illustrated here for your consideration, and ideally, further discussion about your project.
